I go through phases with music. I'll become obsessed with certain songs, bands or albums that I hang on for weeks. I thought it might be fun to document my highlights each month to look back on or help promote. 

Being October, I've been going for things that fit the spooky feels going on. Anything that feels like Halloween.

I mean... like their entire discography would work for this month. They're a band built around monsters and Halloween. Gonna link to videos for these guys, because visual kei is in the name.

Au/Ra

Her single "Ghost" was featured in Death Stranding, where I first encountered her music and fell in love. I find many of her songs relatable and alluring.

The Queen of the Damned soundtrack

As an Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles fan, the movie "Queen of the Damned" was ultimately complete trash and a huge disappointment. Aside from Aaliyah's performance, the only positive thing that came of it was the soundtrack. Johnathan Davis did so good with it. 

Jake Munro also did a pretty good cover for the song "Forsaken" earlier this year as well.
